Invoking old memories and creating new - Remarkable Sweet Shop is New Zealand’s premier retail confectionery experience. Our destination stores, online shopping and wholesale division present a vast range of handmade fudge and an extensive international product range, delivered with exceptional service.
The Remarkable Sweet Shop Ltd.
Established by the Palmer family in 2004, the original Remarkable Sweet Shop is still nestled in the historic mountain village of Arrowtown, NZ. Our Queenstown store opened in 2008 on Beach Street in Queenstown CBD. In June of 2013, we opened the doors to our third shop at the Queenstown Airport, welcoming visitors to Queenstown with our own unique flare.
Our retail stores are famous as a destination experience not just for our large range of quality sweets, fudge, nougat and chocolates but also quality service and interaction with our specialist staff.
Nowadays the magnificent Oompa Loompa team is headed up by Managing Director Lucy Hunt. With a dedicated admin, warehouse and kitchen team based in Arrowtown and superb frontline staff in the three shops, we strive for excellence with our delectable handmade fudge and imported confectionery.

The online shopping experience has become a top-rated site on Google for such keywords as ‘sweets’ and ‘fudge’. Our personal approach to service and customer interaction carries over to the RSS online shopping experience. Visitors to our store often like to relive their holiday experience online once they have returned home. The website also provides exposure for our brand and business around the world.
